Established in 1961, the Thunderbird Museum stands as a memorial dedicated to the preservation of the past, present, and future. This 21-room edifice, formerly the old Hatfield Hotel, houses many different collections including one of the finest collections of Indian artifacts. View the original translation of the Winnebago Bible, old documents, rare paintings, military memorabilia, antiques including a ten-foot tall hand-carved fireplace with tooled leather and tile imported from France in the 1800s, and much more.
