Take a historic walking tour and explore the Indian Mounds dating between 200 and 1200 AD. Eleven mounds in this park have been left relatively undisturbed for the last 1,500 years. A walk along the trail provides a glimpse of the sacred traditions of the pre-historic Indians that once inhabited the banks of Lake Koshkonong.

100-year old oak trees cover the park and provide an incredible backdrop to Jones Park's historic baseball field. The diamond is the baseball home to the Fort Atkinson Generals Home Talent League team, Fort Atkinson High School varsity team and VFW Teeners, Jr. Legion & American Legion summer teams. Today's youngest baseball stars plays on one of the state's oldest venues - the diamond dates back to pre-1900 and has a spectator grandstand that was built in 1917. The park also features a "Fort" themed playground area, restrooms, picnic shelter, lighted horse shoe courts and a sand volleyball court.

Tyranena Park is a wooded park located on the north shores of Rock Lake. This park preserves recessional moraine formations left by glacial activity ten thousand years ago. This natural setting has picnic facilities, playground, restroom facilities and a foot path that meanders along the shoreline and through the woods.

Village Beach is a one-acre park with 150 feet of sandy beach on Lower Spring Lake. It has a diving raft, lifeguard station, beachhouse with changing areas and rest rooms, picnic shelter and tables, volleyball court, play equipment and a shaded lawn area. Swimming lessons and supervised swimming is available from mid-June through August. Lower Spring Lake is also enjoyed for recreational boating and fishing, including ice fishing during the winter. A Wisconsin DNR boat ramp and parking area is located just east of the village limits, off Hwy 59.
